We stopped by Whipped Bakery on a weekday afternoon, and the first thing that stood out was how beautiful and elegantly decorated the space is inside. This visit was to their Anderson Mill Rd location (they also have a Leander shop), and even mid-afternoon the bakery was buzzing with activity.

With so many tempting desserts on display, choosing just a few was tough! We ended up sampling the chocolate strawberry cupcake, pistachio fatcaron (yes — a fat macaron!), Whipped deluxe chocolate chip cookie, and the white chocolate lemon pound cake. Everything had mild, balanced flavors and tasted great, but our clear favorite was the pistachio fatcaron—it was bursting with flavor and had the perfect texture. We wanted to try the canele and the Basque cheesecake, but they were out. Whipped Bakery also specializes in custom cakes, so they’re definitely worth keeping in mind for your next special occasion.

For drinks, we ordered a Stash peppermint tea and an Americano, both of which paired nicely with the desserts. One small surprise was that everything was served on plastic plates and paper mugs—likely due to limited dishwashing facilities—but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.

Despite visiting on a Thursday around 2pm, the place was pretty packed, which says a lot about how popular they are. Parking was easy thanks to a large lot outside, making this a convenient stop. If you’re craving beautifully crafted desserts in a charming setting, Whipped Bakery is absolutely worth a visit.

Final verdict: Whipped Bakery is absolutely worth a visit—especially if you love beautifully crafted desserts in a charming, elegant space. Even on a weekday afternoon it was buzzing, the treats were balanced and delicious, and the pistachio fatcaron was the clear standout. Add in easy parking and great coffee/tea pairings, and it’s the kind of place you’ll want to keep in mind for both casual treats and special occasions.
